The Silent Order is not bound by honor or allegiance; to them, crystals and coins are justice. Existing in the shadows of Fabland, they thrive as brokers of secrecy—running the black market where forbidden relics, stolen technologies, assassinations, and mercenary contracts are traded. Their loyalty bends only to the highest bidder, making them both indispensable and impossible to trust. Even the Shadow Legion and FabCouncil, bitter enemies, have turned to the Order when desperation outweighed distrust. But betrayal is their art—every deal carries the risk of collapse if a better offer appears.
At the heart of this shadow empire stands Asher, the Fox—once Bravest Warrior in Inferno Core. Once a believer in justice, Asher’s world burned in betrayal during a tragedy that shattered his faith. Now, Asher hides his scars behind sharp wit and cold calculation, weaving the Order into a web of secrecy and profit.
Beside him is Draven, the Wolf—the enforcer and predator whose silence carries more weight than words. Once a decorated warrior in the FabCouncil’s outer guard, Draven stood as a shield for the weak along the far trade routes and border villages. But years of corruption, bribes, and hollow politics eroded his faith. The breaking point came when the council chose politics over lives, allowing hundreds to die in a village raid that could have been prevented. Draven abandoned his oath, swearing never again to bleed for false ideals. In Asher’s vision, he found kinship. Now, he is the Order’s ruthless arm, training assassins known as the Silent Claws and reminding the world that fear itself is the strongest weapon.
The Silent Order’s fortress—The Veil—is a labyrinth hidden in the no-man’s land between Shadow Legion’s spiked territories and Fabville’s towering wall. Inside, its shadow-lit halls hum with whispers of deals, glowing relics, secret auctions, and mercenaries sharpening blades in the dark. The fortress feels alive, its heart beating to the rhythm of greed, secrecy, and betrayal.
For the heroes, the Silent Order represents temptation and danger in equal measure. When relics, maps, or forbidden gadgets cannot be obtained through noble means, they may have no choice but to gamble with the Order. But every deal is a risk—the Shadow Legion may always pay more. The Order profits most from imbalance, fanning chaos to keep their black market thriving.
